Humsafar fame Mahira Khan will play the lead role in Shah Rukh
Khan starrer Raees. Mahira Khan who made acting debut in the Pakistani Movie Bol is all set to make debut in
Bollywood. She got fame from Pakistani TV show Humsafar in which she played the
role of innocent Khirad opposite the dashing Fawad Khan. Mahira recently
visited Mumbai and met with the producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar and
they took no time in finalizing the Pakistani beauty for Raees.
Mahira will play SRK’s wife in the film. Shah Rukh Khan is
playing Gujrati don and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is the cop who traps him in Mumbai.
Both the producers believe that she is perfect for the role. Initially Sonam
Kapoor and Kriti Sanon had begged the role but Mahira Khan is confirmed by the
producer for the role. Raees is an upcoming Bollywood film which is being directed
