Shah Rukh Khan big budget Movie Happy New Year did well on first day but fails to break the first week collection of Kick and Dhoom 3. The movie starrer Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah, Boman Irani and Jackie Shroff has broken many domestic and international records. The musical heist was released on 24 October 2014 and after first week movie earned rupees 157.57 crore at Indian box office. HNY earned 44 crore on its first day and becomes the fastest film to enter in the 100 crore club.

At the end of first wee Happy New Year’s domestic collection stands at rupees 157.57 crore whereas Dhoom 3 had earned 188.98 crore after first week and Salman’s Kick had minted rupees 164.09. Happy New Year is still doing good business on box office. Makers are hopeful that the movie will be in the list of highest crossing movies.
